Prepare for a night that’s a little bit naughty and a whole lot of brilliant! 🎶📚

Matilda the Musical is based on the beloved novel by Roald Dahl, one of the world’s most celebrated children’s authors. Dahl is known for creating unforgettable stories filled with sharp humor, imaginative worlds, and clever children who outsmart the adults around them—Matilda being one of his most iconic characters.

Adapted for the stage by the Royal Shakespeare Company, Matilda the Musical features a book by Dennis Kelly and music and lyrics by Tim Minchin. Since its debut, the show has delighted audiences around the globe and earned major critical acclaim, including multiple Tony Award nominations, celebrating its outstanding music, choreography, and overall theatrical brilliance.

The story follows Matilda Wormwood, a gifted young girl with a love of books and a powerful sense of justice. Faced with cruel parents and the terrifying headmistress Miss Trunchbull, Matilda discovers her inner strength—and reminds us all that even the smallest voices can make the biggest change. With show-stopping numbers like “Naughty,” “When I Grow Up,” and “Revolting Children,” this musical is smart, funny, and deeply heartwarming for audiences of all ages. However, it's rated PG for bullying. 

To make the experience even more magical, we’re thrilled to offer our “Revolting Children” VIP Experience where you get to experience the world of Matilda that includes a backstage tour and a photo with the cast member of your choice.  The VIP Experience begins sharply at 5:45 pm for evening shows and 1:15 for the Matinee on March 28th.
